Online College Management System

Abstract

College management system is a centralized system that can access all the information about the students and teachers. I have been using the web kiosk from 1st year and I have always wondered about the entire working about it and how it can be improved, thus the idea of choosing this as my project came in my mind. I started this project by requirement analysis, for requirement analysis I studied other university websites and our web kiosk. I have always helped by my project guide Dr. Yashwant Singh in this regard. After the requirement analysis, I did the planning for my project like how it will be prepared, how many days it will took, what will be back end, what will be the front end. Third phase of this project development was system modeling. In this phase first I understood the system thoroughly using UML diagrams, then I designed a basic site map which gave me the layout of the system. Since, each university have their own emblem so I designed an emblem for this one too. Next task was to decide a color palette for the system. So I tried various palettes and chose one of them. Next, I decided to design the system keeping only end user in mind and designed the web pages.
