Abstract: This document describes the basic architecture for SAP Focused Business Solution “ACMTM Integration” (working title, OneVoice tbd). The FBS will provide an integration between SAP S/4 components Agricultural Contract Management (ACM), Trader’s and Scheduler’s Workbench (TSW) and Transportation Management (TM) for specific business processes. ACM and TSW are part of the S/4 industry layer (IS-OIL) whereas TM is part of S/4 Core. The FBS will only support system internal integration, a side-by-side deployment with a separate TM installation is not supported. Technically, the FBS will be delivered as a modification free ABAP AddOn to SAP S/4 1809 FP2. The main architectural challenges are · Provision of enhancements to underlying components ACM, TSW and TM without introducing technical dept: No modifications, minimal use of implicit enhancements. · No reduction of customer enhancement options after AddOn installation (e.g. do not implement single use BAdIs, no not use WebDynpro customizing layer). · Integration architecture: Synchronous integration within the S/4 system is preferred. Fallback to asynchronous integration / queueing is required in case of technical locks or when processing high data volumes. · No impact on existing standard processes after AddOn installation. Designs and requests for additional enhancement options (e.g. internal BAdIs) will be aligned with the underlying standard components and the use of implicit enhancements will be strictly controlled. All enhancements to the standard components will be reviewed to ensure that there is no negative impact on existing functionality.
