dc.description.abstractEmotional Intelligence (EI) has been claimed important for performance of leaders and workers in organizations. But, little research has examined these issues in Indian context. The present study explores the relationship between the four dimensions of Emotional Intelligence: self awareness, self management, social awareness and social skills and Six styles of Leadership: pioneering, strategic, management/administration, and team, pastoral and encouraging styles. The findings support the claim of positive impact of emotional intelligence on leadership.en_US
